Kate Yüksel is an artist living and working in Kingston, Ontario. She received her MFA from Minneapolis College of Art & Design and BFA Degrees in both Photography and Graphic Design from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. As a freelance artist she has worked with many of Kingston's not-for-profit cultural organizations including Grand Theatre, Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Pump House Steam Museum, MacLachlan Woodworking Museum, and City Hall.

Her photographs have appeared in national publications including Orion Magazine and the Yale University Graduate School Literary Arts Magazine titled, Palimpsest. She is a recipient of the Ontario Arts Council (OAC) Visual Arts Emerging Artist Grant and Exhibitions Assistance Grant.
